It was pretty nerve wracking but it all worked out in the end! One thing that I would add is to buy some very thin gauge enameled wire or silicon wire as there's not a huge amount of space in there. I did all of the wires (couldn't see which was broken) and wired the main power section which has 3 strands at the plug directly to the socket. All the other ones I wired to scraped off areas at the beginning and end of the ribbon cable.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5327053476753162326.post-53605259132375236272013-06-30T09:12:49.380-07:002013-06-30T09:12:49.380-07:00That's an external cable used to connect the L...That's an external cable used to connect the LCD panel to the laptop's mainboard.

Meanwhile, the current blogpost is about internal screen backlight cable damage.SPARCHERhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16070626865367796128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5327053476753162326.post-86054178474288417822013-06-13T08:02:47.887-07:002013-06-13T08:02:47.887-07:00i guess that's the right one. when i posted th...i guess that's the right one. when i posted this article , i couldn't find such a flex.DJ Cristihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05261357116359336837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5327053476753162326.post-89208343757513437362013-06-13T07:48:53.127-07:002013-06-13T07:48:53.127-07:00Isn't it this cable?

Obviously an ACER issue that being the back-light stops working and probably due to the ribbon cable as shown which was extremely weak when I removed the old one and easily broke. Old screen "B133XW01 VO CTRL BD" on front when removed bezel ... back of screen "B133XW01 V.2". Ordered LK.13308.002 straight off ebay £46.50 inclusive. Fitted works perfectly. Easy to do just have to be careful removing the bezel otherwise a breeze. Thanks again DJ.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
